9.00 (very good) Borrowed this from a friend, and wish I didn't have to return it... It was amazing. Great story, that somehow using (in my opinion) overused and cliche plot paths, made a movie that I thoroughly enjoyed (I did not notice anything cliche about it till I started writing this). Will have to find this movie somewhere and purchase. It's will be worth a re watch later this year, with some friends.

5.00 (moderate) Another long series, that I will need to set aside some time to watch. I loved the manga, as Ranma 1/2 Volume 21 is the first manga I ever read, and that was the first series I read from start to finish. It has a repeated plot style, where minute changes to the story and reuse the same plot so I could see myself getting bored with this. Time will tell (as soon as I actually start to watch it more than the first episode)

7.00 (above average) Seen the first 6 episodes. Not bad so far, a lot of fanservice to the point that I feel like they made it more for the fanservice than the plot from the manga (although that also had a lot of fanservice). Some things that annoy me are when moka sucks Tsukune's blook they put up an annoying splash screen of lips, like they're trying to write it off as a kiss, and also when pink Moka changes into white Moka they do this 'suit change sequence' reminiscent of the Power Rangers I used to watch as a kid (honestly are they trying to cater to little kids by censoring the blood sucking and doing a power rangers costume change sequence, then trying to bring in the above grade school audience with the fanservice?) Well it's still pretty good so far.

6.50 (above average) The beginning was great, especially when it followed the manga, however when it stopped following the manga it started going downhill real quick, and towards the end I was just watching it trying to give it a chance to redeem itself, but the last episode was the worst. It's a good series to see once through at least, especially if you haven't read the manga.

8.00 (good) The action scenes in this were epic. The plot was a little weak (especially towards the end), but was still better than the plots of many other anime. sound was actually decent, considering the attempt to integrate rap (which I hate with a passion, however they did a nice job with it) with the show. They did leave a few cliffhangers, but they weren't major. Overall very good.

7.00 (above average) This anime, like many other anime gets cut short when compared to the manga. It also dumbs down or skips gleefully away from the violence that was present in the manga as if the age range of the audience changed dynamically changes on a per minute basis. It was funny at times but the same jokes get old quickly. Animation style and sound were fine, and thew plot was ok (yet predictable from the manga). Characters seemed overly simple.

8.75 (very good) Best opening I have ever seen for any series (Girls on Film by Duran Duran). I watched the opening song for every episode (usually I watch the opening once, and skip over it after I have seen it to get to the show faster). Opening song matches the anime perfectly. Plot is actually fairly strong, considering it sounded really weak on the back cover. I liked this plot and it wasn't a plot easily equated to another series. It does have some cheesy romance things to it, however it was done tastefully, and integrates well with the plot (unlike many romance anime integrate their 'romantic' parts into their general plot). I initially started watching this series, looking for something ecchi and read the part of "He tries to photograph the club's "goddess,"..." (Wikipedia), stopped there and decided to watch it. I watched the series and quickly found out that it wasn't ecchi (however there are a few ecchi parts intermingled throughout, but find a series that doesn't have that), but didn't need to be. I think this is a really good series (it didn't let me down) that has somehow been forgotten. I highly recommend for an overall good series, that most anime watchers should at least enjoy. It is a sophisticated series (which I have found puts off many simplistic anime watchers, and younger audiences), and the uniqueness of the plot may put some people out of their anime comfort zone, however those people are somehow immune to the law of diminishing returns, such that they can watch the same plot/story lines over and over without getting bored of it. Maybe I will write a review for this series.

5.00 (moderate) Watched the first few episodes. I was not impressed, however it is not unwatchable like some other shows. Graphics seem fine, sound is fine, however I just don't like any of the characters so far. Maybe that will change, however currently there is not a big urge too watch the rest of the series.

7.00 (above average) Rented this one as I saw a few comparisons online to Princess Mononoke (which is an awesome movie). This one was pretty good, with it's happy, feel good plot, however was not as good as Princess Mononoke. Still a good one to watch, however did not convince me to buy it. It's target audience is a bit younger (half my age maybe) and perhaps more feminine than myself. It has very enjoyable characters, and it's evident that there was much time put into how the characters move and their actions.

8.00 (good) Watched this one years ago, and remember it being awesome. I watched the English dub, and remember the main character's voice sounded like a female played it (even though the main character was a male). I want to watch this one again, hopefully sometime in the near future.

7.00 (above average) It was a good anime. It tied me over for a while and never made me want to stop watching halfway. I wished that my favorite character would have gotten more screen time, but she was just a side character so what can you do? The plot had the makings of a really good plot that seemed to be somewhat rushed to get it into a complete series. Some more side stories would have also been nice as the characters were decently well developed and side plots for each one would have completed the character development package. I kinda feel that this story had more to tell just got cut short to be a series.

6.50 (above average) This was not a bad movie, however I guess other Studio Ghibli films, like Princess Mononoke, have spoiled me. Animation was average, nothing wrong, yet nothing amazing about it either. The dub I listened to was good translation wise, however sub-par in the voice acting. The plot was ok, however similar to Spirited Away in that ***SPOILER ALERT*** the main Character's love interest is a dragon, and that it follows the basic 'hero has an internal battle that he must conquer before he can face his external battles' (haven't seen that plot line in forever... if you define forever as yesterday) ***END SPOILER ALERT***. Also there were many questions that were left unanswered, such as ***SPOILER ALERT*** why did Arren (our wonderful main character) kill his father? That was later answered with he has 'mental' problems, which raised another question; Why does he have mental problems? Answered later with, because he 'fears death'... umm... so why exactly did he kill his father again? It's not like he had anything to gain from it, and fearing death is not a reason to kill somebody, as it doesn't even make logical sense. ***END SPOILER ALERT***

8.00 (good) Months ago I had watched up until ***PLOT SPOILER*** a major character dies (for now unnamed so that you watch the series to find out who) ***END PLOT SPOILER*** and figured it would just go downhill from there so I promptly stopped watching to save myself the disappointment. I recently (in my lame effort to finish watching unfinished series) decided I'd get this one over with. It turns out that although there were a few not so awesome shows it picked itself back up quite nicely and with the exception of episode 16 (which is a complete flashback episode and can be safely skipped without loosing any dignity) was quite enjoyable. The artwork is unique or original (there's no confusing what series the artwork is from), and the sound was good (no annoying voices, synchronization issues or poorly equalized mixing to note).

8.00 (good) This was a good Studio Ghibli film. The characters were enjoyable and fantastically inept (with the exception of a few). I was surprised I didn't update this as soon as I had watched it. Interesting plot, good character development, good animation (minus the audio syncing), and good audio.

5.00 (moderate) I remember watching this many years ago and thinking it was a so-so movie. I didn't understand it (at that time), and I can barley recall what even happened in the movie. I do remember not being able to understand why or even what specifically they were fighting, or why they had to blow up some really big tower (I suppose that was a spoiler, however my memory of the movie is so vague that I don't really care).

8.25 (good) Good series. Excellent character development, where characters have their shortcomings and skills and makes for a enjoyable series even though the plot could be stronger. Wish they wouldn't have just forgotten about the level 0 guy half way through, which left a few plot strings hanging, and consequently ignored my favorite subplot of this series. Still a good series and a will be worth a re-watch when I'm out of good series to watch.

7.00 (above average) Good series. Main plot isn't as interesting to me as the side plot that caused the spin off series To Aru Kagaku No Railgun. Still a good series with decent character development. Worth watching at least once, especially if you plan on watching it's spin off series.
Update: I recently heard a second season was coming out, and search around a bit. Lo and behold, To Aru Majutsu no Index II. Ive seen the first two episodes, and hope to see more in the near future. (all these sequels, kinda makes me wish Minitokyo differentiated between seasons)

7.00 (above average) Good series with a lot of fan service. Somewhat weak on plot, but if you like anime panties then this is the series for you. There is more fan service in this anime than any of the other anime series I've watched.

8.00 (good) It's pretty good. It is somewhat predictable (obvious lead ins to everything), yet funny and very entertaining. It turned into a romance , lovely dovely type in the last few episodes, and slowed down quite a bit (also becoming more predictable and less funny). Still a good series and was 24 episodes (I was getting kinda tired of the 12 episode ones)

8.00 (good) Started watching this anime with no expectations and it quickly turned into a "I've got to watch the next episode!" series. Very pleased with this one. Good plot, strong character development, and good mix of seriousness and comedy. Also they did a nice job treading the line of predictability and unexpected things happening, such that it kept you on your toes but still had the "happy ending" feel good quality to it.

6.00 (average) This film was a decent film. It is not one of Studio Ghibli's better works. The plot was fairly weak, which is this film's downfall. The animation and sound were just fine. The movie essentially consists of this guy who spends the majority of this film complaining about this girl who he ends up ***SPOILER ALERT (although I'm sure you can guess what I'm about to say)*** liking. ***END SPOILER ALERT***

7.25 (above average) A good romance film from Studio Ghibli. It was very well done and far outpaces most of the other romance films I've seen. For me romance films often come across as corny or cheesy, however those words never crossed my mind while watching this film. plot was good artwork was good and voice acting for the English dub was good. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I would like to rewatch with the Japanese audio but I will save that for later.
